Last night, for the first time since coming to Earth, I was rolling by something called the “TV,” and it was on!!!
I had heard so much about TV & wondered, what could be so very fascinating about it, that caused people to forget everything else??? But then I saw, it was something about a ball! No wonder! So I settled happily down to watch…
As it turned out, this was actually a movie by the name of Kicking It…
Luckily, the people in this home use closed captioning, so I had no trouble following each & every word! I was breathless to see what would happen next!

Football~soccer! The sport loved throughout the Universe! Even we clay balls play soccer!
I was mesmerized!

This was a movie about soccer teams from many, many countries around the world competing in the 4th annual International Homeless Soccer World Cup held in South Africa that year…
Each country recruited players from among its homeless population…
Had lots of training, & then tryouts…
And then all the teams met in South Africa for the championship games!!!

There were women’s teams, as well as men’s teams, but this movie focused on the men’s teams from Afghanistan, Ireland, Kenya, Russia, & the USA…
Archbishop Tutu welcomed the players, & wished for a home for everyone!
The Russian coach shared the secret of his team’s success:
…and there was much joy & celebration…
Which team was the World Champion? I can’t reveal that surprise!
The final review….I loved my first movie here on Earth!
I am a ball! And I am searching for a home for the winter, too! Finally, I understand the power & allure of the big screen…it spoke straight to my heart!
So…I give this movie 2 bounces up!
What’s your favorite movie?
love,
Clay Ball
