Lemon is the secret ingredient that makes this dish irresistible!

First, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil & add 1 pound of spaghetti, angel hair, or thin linguine…
Then, assemble the other ingredients:
1/8 cup oil
juice of 1 lemon
3 large tomatoes, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, diced
salt & freshly ground black pepper
grated Gruyere cheese (optional)
While the pasta is boiling, you can squeeze the lemon juice, wash & chop the tomatoes, & dice the garlic…
Next, heat up a tablespoon of oil in a sauce pan or skillet on medium heat, & when both the pan & the oil are hot, add the tomatoes & garlic.
Allow to cook for several minutes, until softened & fragrant.

When the pasta is done cooking, drain & then rinse it briefly with tap water, stirring it around a little. This will remove the stickiness.
Then, add the lemon juice, oil, and salt to the pasta, & stir well to coat all of the pasta.
Add the tomato mixture & stir gently, & then grate plenty of black pepper on top.
Optional: grated Gruyere cheese can be sprinkled generously on top for extra saltiness & flavor!

Enjoy!
