These sweet, cool, frosty treats are a summer favorite!
Compared to the other popsicles we’ve tried, the strawberrry~banana~yogurt pop is the clear winner! Because it has…
sweetness from the banana…
creaminess from the yogurt…
freezes in just 4 hours (because all the fruit was frozen ahead of time!)…
& has a soft, smooth, & yummy consistency…
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 package unflavored gelatin
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
Mix water, sugar, and gelatin, & heat in saucepan over low heat until gelatin & sugar are well dissolved, about 5 minutes or less.
Add strawberries, sliced frozen banana, yogurt, & the gelatin mixture to a blender, & blend until smooth.
Then, just pour into individual 2-ounce cups or popsicle trays…if using individual cups, allow to freeze 1 hour, & then push popsicle sticks 2/3 of the way down into cups.
Total freezing time if starting out with frozen fruit was about 4 hours…and the yield was eleven 2-ounce pops.
