hats are back!
Yes, it’s true…Hats are back! And my good friend Ana is living proof of this spring fashion trend…
Ana is a down-to-earth elephant…who also happens to be a natural beauty, with a passion for hats! Part of it is that she works outdoors all day with Lon, on their little garlic farm & yardwork business, so she wears a hat to shade herself from the sun……but much more than that, Ana says she just loves hats because…
…a hat can lend you an air of mystery…
…glamour….
…a chance to steal a kiss…
…and…Oh-oh…What’s that we hear?
Oh dear, there seems to have been a tiny misunderstanding…
Well, the thing is, I had just encountered this amazing hat sitting there on the kitchen counter yesterday, & so I gave it to Ana as a springtime gift…but…Oh..
Now our neighbors are looking for their brand-new shower-drain cover…shaped like a miniature white hat…
(Come to think of it, I did overhear a snippet of conversation, when they were talking about getting a drain cover in order to cut back on their use of that Liquid Plumber…there was some mention of protecting the Earth’s waters)…OOPS!
Quick as a flash, I returned the spring hat before they found out where it had gone…but NOT TO WORRY!

Clay ball, I do not understand.
I wear a hat every day. I have many hats and often wear several different hats in a day, as what is appropriate, but they never seem to do for me what they do for Ana. I do not think that is fair. What do you think?
