spring is in the air

Today, I went outside & saw the pussy willows budding! The sunshine was warm & bright on my face, and there was a cool spring breeze gently buffetting the space kayak back and forth along its wobbly course…
The daffodil greens were poking up through the soil, & Lon & Ana’s garlic patch was busting out all over the place…
Up above in the tree branches, I saw my funny, flashy friend, Mockingbird, back from down South…but before I could take his photo, he whistled at me & flew away…

Just then, as I was watching the stripy black & white of Mockingbird’s wings disappear, I saw my first UFO here on Earth! Can you see it too–there it is–something blurry there in the upper right-hand part of the clouds, just above the tip of the branch?

It flew higher & then closer to me, & finally I was able to see it clearly…wait…is it…YES! It’s really true!

Spring is in the air!
HURRAY!

Yay!!!
Thanks Clay Ball, we needed to see and read this, since we are still buried in snow!
Spring is on the way!
Rob
It certainly is Rob! :) I wonder where you live, where there is still much snow?
This morning, Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal arrived! (Although from the information below, it says cardinals do not usually migrate south for the winter…maybe they are just looking around for a new place to build a nest?)
Anyway, I am so happy spring is here! I was almost ready to head back to my tiny aquamarine planet!
