out of the clear blue sky

Did I even mention that I love our little neighborhood?
I live a very quiet, ordinary life overall, but luckily enough, in our neighborhood, little interesting things keep happening every day!
Every morning, before work & school, I take the children to the windowsill now that it is lighter out, & we look at a sky. This is a very important habit for flying, & I hope the children will do this all their lives.
You can tell all sorts of things by looking at the sky!

Well, this morning, as we opened the window & looked out, much to our surprise, we heard a low & mournful howling sound!
But wait. That voice sounded somewhat familiar…Yes, it was Marcus! That explorative young wolf from Canada!
LB, Seala, and I flew down in our space kayak to see what was wrong. Marcus was just feeling a bit low, was all. He was a bit hungry and tired and also had wandered a bit too far from home, maybe?

So we brought him back up in our space kayak…

…and offered him some roasted potatoes. That cheered him up considerably! Potatoes always do that for me, too!

And then we just enjoyed the beautiful clear skies a bit more!
I hope you have beautiful skies overhead!
love,
Clay Ball
