surprise visitors!

what's that

On Monday, we were off for the holiday, when all of a sudden we heard a kind of shimmery commotion…

It could only be One Thing.   Oh ya, it was my children’s father, Star!    He seems steady and quiet when you first meet him…he speaks in a calm, low voice…but pretty soon, lo & behold, a shimmery commotion soon follows!  Commotion, bordering on chaos…

Don’t ask me how it happens–it must be a Star Thing.  My son, LB,  has it, too!

With Star came his new little daughter, Tiny Star!  She is adorable,  &  my heart melts every time I see her!

Star’s wife had to work that day, so it was just the two of them coming to visit LB & Seala.

I love Star’s new wife, &  they are so happy together,  but once in a while it is just fun to spend an afternoon with Star & the children like in the old times, except much more peaceful now.    The children really like it, & I know Star’s wife does not mind.  She is a truly lovely & wise star all around, I have to say!

First, Star took all the children to the pumpkin patch for some pumpkin picking…then, he took them out for a bit of lunch…

…when they got back home…

sun ball

LB & Star went outside all afternoon to play some serious sunball, which is very similar to basketball, except less bounce & more levitation…

In the meantime, I got the chance to watch Seala play with her little sister, Tiny Star!

They played around on Star’s vehicle, which he uses to zoom down here to Earth…

It may look somewhat like a souped-up houseplant…but Star calls it the photosynthetic nebulizing  light-beam racer ……uhhhh-huuhhh.

I love to watch Seala with her little sister!  She is so gentle & funny & kind!  All the little kids love Seala, but Tiny Star especially loves her big sister!    …Sisters Forever!

We had a beautiful day, LB with his Dad, Seala with her tiny sister, and me, Clay Ball, just happy to be here & all of us peaceful!

Good-bye Star & Tiny Star!  Have a safe trip back Home!

love,

Clay Ball
