Here on Earth things are changing. The month of August is already behind us and we find quite many yellow leaves in our yard.
It seems like the Hummingbirds are visiting our feeder much more frequently and I guess that they try to store energy for the long long trip to a continent called South America.
So, this Morning I stood at the window, looked at the changes and pondered with a slight sadness that the sun is now rising later and setting much earlier: Winter is on the way!!
It is not that I hate Winter, I love to watch the snowflakes fall or to wake up to admire a beautiful white blanket covering my world,
but…it is cold, dark and much too long, especially since my winters last from mid September to late April!

Suddenly, like a bolt of lightening had interrupted my melancholy thoughts, I jumped up.

“IT IS TIME FOR OUR DEAR CLAY BALL AND HER BEAUTIFUL FAMILY TO VISIT EARTH AGAIN AND STAY FOR A WHILE!!!”

Juhuiii!

When are you planning to arrive? We all can hardly wait. Do you need any help? Will you also bring all your friends, like Tabasco and the two big animals. I’m sure that they will need to harvest the garlic. Etc, etc.

Dear Clay Ball, I look sooo much forward to your coming back and to be able to read your stories and try out your new yummy recipes. I can hardly wait.

All my very best wishes for a safe trip – watch out for the Hurricanes, you can easily slip by them if you are careful and I know that you don’t take any chances and are a very skilled spaceship driver.
